Joyce couldn't spoil prawns if he left them out in the sun for 6 hours.
Wrong. Get me a microwave.I suppose we basically played the entire game without our two best defenders so there might still be hope for the season.
Not sure. I'm not ruling him out on the basis of a practice match but he just looks a bit slow and slow to react. Tbh Gallup looked a completely different proposition in contests.Fletch looks like he has gone up a level, looks strong and fit. Day cannot play next week.
Mckenna can really go when he's on.
The most significant thing to come out of the game is I don't think I'm onboard with Joyce's goatee.
I couldn't recognise Will tonight. What's he done with his head ? To be fair the bandage didn't help.Joyce’s goatee is almost as bad as whatever the **** is going on with Ashcroft’s facial hair in the premiership doco
Could not have been further off the pace, I would play Smith and I really don’t rate him at this point. It’s a worry. Not sure. I'm not ruling him out on the basis of a practice match but he just looks a bit slow and slow to react. Tbh Gallup looked a completely different proposition in contests.
Day did look very slow. Lumbering forward type is not a good replacement for Daniher. I’m thinking we play Fort out of the goal square and use him to give Oscar the chop out in the ruck. Fort certainly looks to be more mobile than Day.Not sure. I'm not ruling him out on the basis of a practice match but he just looks a bit slow and slow to react. On that performance I 100% agree. Very slow around the ground. If that’s what he’s offering, Smith plays ahead of him.Fletch looks like he has gone up a level, looks strong and fit. Day cannot play next week.

I was quite impressed with Morris . He looks a leaner and stronger. Got into good position to get his hands on the ball but most of the time it just slipped out. Physically and the way he was moving I'm optimistic he'll be a bigger asset in 2025.
Fort's recovering from a hammy.
Smith looked pretty good in his brief cameo, stinks that we start our season so much earlier than the VFL and he won't get much of a hitout for a while.
