According to Karun it is Piastris fault when he hits the barrier and the cars fault when Lando hits the wall.
How about the excitement when he hit it and the sarcasm when he realised the damage was cosmetic

Leclerc has historically been quite good around Baku. Hopefully he's pushing for pole tomorrow.
As Leclerc himself said - very good on a one lap time and not so good in the race pace.

So him getting pole will set the cat amongst the pigeons in terms of the race start and strategy so I'm all up for that.

The paper thin margins between hero -> zero in quali on this track will make it essential viewing tonight. Best street track by a long distance.

Turn 15 is a championship killer with the unsighted left hander

OC] The infamous corner at the Baku City Circuit : r/formula1

But any of the narrow corners in the old castle district is dangerous at speed as well. And as Norris showed last night, even turn 4 can ruin your race.

Always look forward to this race, 7pm start time in Perth is handy, although I suspect I'll be watching on replay given the WAFL Grand Final starts 3.20 tomorrow and the very real possibility of Souths winning might see me enjoying a few refreshing ales around 7 tomorrow evening.

Fingers crossed for a McLaren 1-2, securing the Constructor's most important to me as a McLaren fan 1st and foremost tomorrow, get that wrapped up, then they can rock, paper, scissors for the WDC.

Would you be OK with a McLaren 2-3 again? Because I'd be OK with a McLaren 2-3 again.

Yeah, I'll probably end up watching a replay. Ain't no way in hell I am getting home from the GF in time for the start of the race.

As an aside, read the Stewards decision re Oscars yellow flag citation;

"A yellow flag was shown at post 1.2, green light at post 3"
"Driver had passed 1.2 before flag was shown, but saw green at post 3, yellow flagged for less than a second."
'technically, driver voided, but since mitigating, we're reprimanding and this is consistent"

So should see a light when behind you, and green only means good when you didn't have a yellow you never saw behind you and this means you still screwed up.

Stewards on point for nonsense during quali and the race, looking forward to it for an engineered drivers championship since the constructors is sewn up. Go well Max to make it a three way, you'll never get a better chance, Franz Herman.

Absolutely. Particularly if it's Oscar 2nd

McL have the title wrapped up, no one is getting near them
