Max and Lawson are running different front wings which can explain part of the difference in lap time. I also read (I don't know if it is true) that Max has upgrades on his car that Lawson doesn't.

Not a huge shock. Apparently when most teams were doing their race sim's on the final day of testing, Red Bull were still experimenting with setup changes.

All teams are bringing upgrades. They would have had some in the works before testing, some would have been developed post testing once they had the data, and some will be track specific.

All upgrades are technically also new parts until they are tested.
This just means that Red Bull bought 15 new parts since testing

The only thing I can think of is that he's not accounted for the little kink before the corner. But then you're also one of the top 20 drivers in the world and have driven the track before.

He's done it again!! Beached the thing this time. You telling me HAAS thought giving this dud a drive ahead of a Bottas or Danny Ric was a good idea? At least they keep the thing on the track and out of the wall.
