Has anything came out about Brisbane, specifically the Ashcroft brothers?
Last report I saw Will is training the house down and Levi was still with the rehab group after shoulder surgery before Christmas.

Will we get detailed stats from the "unofficial" praccy matches, or just match reports?
My understanding is, stats will be available ....DFS

Levi still expected for R0, although could be sub early on. If maintains the same trajectory as his brother, that period probably wouldn't last very long though. Might be like a nice Malaysian curry - a slow burn.

Had heard Will had left the track early a couple of weeks ago, but nothing since and he's been back on deck since.

have you a latest report, that's from a month ago.....things can change in a month.
Yeah Reid is my R3 Its Reidy who is my R2. I reckon he plays with Jacko first 5 rounds.

If Tsatas really is right there in terms of getting a nice early role, guess you have to go with it.
191 is below to rookie price and he will be around the footy

Maybe maybe. That is a BE of about 37. So he needs to be going 65+ really to be worth it

Even with his kicking being absolutely diabolical, he will go 65+. Definitely worth it at the price, especially if there isn't many others that have the same JS.

Reckon he gets that, it's more.for.me.what does the midfield.mix look like, who's waiting in the wings / sidelined due to injury but likely to.come back in?
If they're all healthy and they aren't leaving blokes out and he's got a solid gig, then he probably survives long enough to make some cash, but if there are three mids in the sidelines in Rd 0,.I'll be nervous because I reckon his disposal will put his spot under pressure sooner rather than later.
But what do I know? Gotta be honest, not a heap

Reckon if his kicking is absolutely diabolical he will find his arse in the twos.

Hey hey hey, now now now, hey now, now hey. Enough of that talk maaaaate. Positivity, inclusivity, diversity, intensity. Good vibes. That's what we're after. We're here to lift each other up, not bring each other down.

Luckily we get to see Essendon in R0. To me they seem to have about 15 blokes that COULD get a run in midfield, and other than Merrett none are top class. But he's a rookie so the bar is low, just need a solid 6-8 weeks in the team with a spike score or too (ideally in a bye week to punish all the MPM chancers).

Zerrett, Parish, Caldwell and Durham are the main 4 to start the year without a shadow of a doubt. But they're all little fellas. They need a bigger body in there as the 5th rotation. So it's whether or not Tsatas gets that spot. If he is, then he'll probs get about 50% CBAs and should score well.

Whose his competition? Setters, Perkins, Hobbs probably. 2/3 likely will be playing VFL, and Perkins should stay forward.

Sounds like Tsatas is going to be given first crack at it. He's in for me (for now anyway).

Parish interupted pre-season as well, Tstatas been impressive in the scratch games.

See how he goes in the pre-season ones, where he lines up. If he does well, he will sky rocket in ownership without doubt.

What's your thoughts on Martin's role .....it appears he has a roaming license

“Ken has had open communications with the club over the pre-season and confirmed that 2025 would be his last season as senior coach of Port Adelaide,” Mr Koch said.

As is his way, Ken has put the club first in acknowledging we have a coach in waiting in Josh Carr who will be primed to lead the club in 2026.

The problem is that Hinkley has never put the club first. He has used it to fund his retirement. He should have done a Leon Cameron and walked away years ago acknowledging he could not take the team any further.

Here we go,.Tsatas kicking a footy.
Not a metric ****ton of pressure involved, tbh
That tumbling floating thing at 0:20 is what holds him back. Anyone AFL mid can hit it low and fast from a stop and in space but he seems to lack control as soon as the heart rate goes up.

I see it as the opposite.

Instead of firing Ken and keeping a lot of Port supporters happy in doing so, Koch has planned it in such a way as it's Ken passing on the reigns and thus keeping his legacy clean.

What exactly is Kens legacy? Never bottoming out, making the 8 (Ports goal) yet never looking likely to win a flag. He will have been at Port for 13 seasons and zero grand finals.
