The worst position you can be in as a club is when the majority of the team does not want to be out on the field playing the game.

That first half was quite possibly the biggest red flag I’ve seen. The players are done with Voss and they’re already waiting for his replacement. If the club leadership can’t see that, they’re just as useless.

F the players.
If they don’t like the coach they can leave.
Tail has been wagging the dog for 3 decades now.
Enough…..get rid of the players if they can’t handle the coach, bad luck.
I’d take another rebuild if it meant getting the shit out of the club.

I followed this team from the age of 6 in 1998, my brothers and father were lucky enough to see the 95 premiership, I, on the other hand have had two sniffs at even a GF.

It's so hard, I won't lie, but I think like most of us, Carlton is in our DNA at this point.

I just wish the players and some people in the higher ups at the club gave even 50% of a **** as much as we the fans do.

I'll never not support the club. That's what makes it all the more depressing.

They weren't forced to play because of lack of depth. Cripps out Lord gets to play in his proper position and you can keep a Carroll in the team. HOF or even Young can be used to replace Weitering. If they were injured they definitely did not have to play. Just poor from the MC

Our lack of mid level players and lack.of depth is massively exposed when injured players are forced to play.

And when some of the senior players put up that shit, we in trouble.

The dumbell pay structure needs to be fixed! So we get some better spread of quality.

That first half of footy was the worst of seen from Carlton in a very long time.

Coach did stuff all to stop the rot.

Thinking that performance was on the coach for not making moves is in my opinion delusional.

True more the reason to keep Voss in my opinion. Tail can't keep wagging the dog. It's got to stop somewhere. Back him in, if players don't want to be coached by Voss then ship them out. Get some fresh blood and build alignment between coach and players. We need more players with heart, passion and love for the club. Effort should be unconditional. Current team is summed up by our leaders. Good to see Cripps having a laugh and breaking bread with Aliir after the game. #standbyvoss

I asked before this game was some semblance of pride and effort too much to ask for?

Evidently it was what a disgrace what a shambles. The team is not quite as good as we hoped it would be but it's still a lot better than this.

Unfortunately the jungle drums for Vossy are beating loudly right now. That Pies game up next could get very ugly indeed.
