Please Carlton, I beg of you ... if you aren't going to do or say something meaningful this week ... just shut up. Don't send out a player to spout rhetoric. Don't send out the President to say we are all in this together.

Don't put out stories of an AFLW player re-signing or either squad having fun at training, or answering trivia questions, or tell us what music they are listening to this week.

Say nothing. Leave us to our own recovery. No build up, no footage of previous Collingwood clashes. No photos of football clinics, hospital visits, or somebody's pet.

Frankly, it all feels like a slap in the face, like you are just trying to further the non-core aspects of the club.

I actally feel sorry for Voss. His post match press conference you can see he was visualy stressed. I am sure he is a good bloke with the best intentions but he is just lacking in the tactics department. As for the players they are just pathetic and act like they are a bunch of sooks. Those senior players out there brought nothing but hey they still get their paypacket. I truly hope there is a big cleanout. I'm tired of watching these sooks.

If Voss is on his last legs. Then call out the players that think they’re bigger than club. Bench them, drop them. Stop carrying them. then in a Bellamy style approach - it’s next man up. Stop taking the sh*t and get angry.

Voss has shown time and time again he won't make tough calls at the selection table - and clearly has favourites.

Picking Doc for that final last year was senseless.... reeked of desperation.

Picking sick or injured players - dumb as...

Voss has no answers - yes the players don't do themselves any favours, but Voss gets paid serious coin to get them in order, playing good footy.... consistently.

He has failed. Over and over. Year 4 of his tenure and we're worse off frankly.

It is an easy conclusion to reach.

Nothing he says to the public will suffice. The poor bloke is on a hiding to nothing. The players have let him dons badly. The captain, as much as I love hm, sadly is one of the main offenders, as he was with Teague and Bolton before that. I think we need to let him. Best for him and best for the club. The rest of them, as pitiful as the likes of Weitering, Curnow, Walsh and McKay have been for weeks, are younger and still have very good years of football ahead of them.

By all means go scorched earth on Lloyd, Austin and Agresta and the players but I genuinely feel for Voss. Everyone wants him out yet he is probably hurting more than most of the player are right now. His legacy is enshrined as a player. He risked part of it to a degree to try to become a successful coach as well. IMO he has way more on the line than a lot of these overpaid so called professional footballers we have parading at Carlton.

Set a plan and gain the respect of the playing group.

He wanted to be defined by consistency. Since r1 2022 we havent. Go back, and have look at both ingame and seasonal schizophrenic performances.

The players, the "highly touted" million dollar leaders absoutely have a soft underbelly and are coach killers. Its undeniable, they must go.

however club needs a clean out of Voss and the others.
Why because in 4 years, we havent seen the dropping of any of these "leaders" or highly paid guys have we.

Ross Lyon happily dropped Milne and Dal Santo, to swt his standards way back. When has that ever happened for us?

Lets add to this. Have a look at the 2025 official leadership group. Cripps, Weitering, Walsh and Curnow

Only 4. No hard workers, no spread of talent or pay packet. Says it all really. Wheres the blue collar leader, the hard workers? Reap. SOW.

From WAY outside, I’d say the club’s immediate priorities should be:

1. Football
2. Football
3. Football

ALL facets of the football department need significant improvement and/or change. Have accepted mediocrity for way too long.

Fix football and the onfield and see just how big a juggernaut we can be.

Don’t treat us for fools and take us for granted. Modern Carlton really has delivered us little.

If I’m GW there’d be a New Footy Director. New Footy Mgr. New Head Coach and Assistant Coaches. Bolstered LM Team. Bolstered VFL and Development program.

Eyeball ALL players especially our high paid stars and call out their BS. Implement high performance standards and hold them to account. No more tail wagging the dog. Drop underperforming players especially stars. Make statements, stand for something.

All focus should be on fixing football and the onfield. Do whatever we have to to consistently win football matches and become a perennial contender. All we are really are perennial pretenders.

Where we are now is completely unacceptable and there MUST be immediate material change in key roles.

Id sack all those listed in footy dept.

Then, wait to see which players are the ring leaders to get another coach sacked. Cripps, weitering, curnow...

Then move them on.

Why? Because Voss a poor hire to begin with, has been railroaded now, by a group of "leaders" who clearly dont respect authority and happily rail against a coach when it gets hard

We need to break this culture, to go forward. No matter the next coach and footy dept people
