On this. I honestly believe there’s a handful of Collingwood players who truly hate us and lift every time they play us. Sidebottom and Pendlebury buy into the rivalry. Elliot is often one that carves us up as well, Daicos boys the same even though Nick barracked for us. We don’t have anyone who seems to have that hatred and refusal to lose against them

For too long we've relied on our stars Cripps Walsh Mckay Curnow Weitering Saad to win games .
I'd say Weitering and Saad are the only 2 of that group running at near their best .

The others well down or out .
Whilst our gun recruiters have failed at the draft year after year to put enough run & good ball users around them .
Now that as a collective our stars are well down on output the failure of both Steve Silvagni & Austin is coming home to roost .

The only way out of this is for our stars to step back up their output .

As an example same time last year after 4 games Mckay & Curnow had a collective 24 goals .
This year obviously Mckay out and Curnow struggling we've had a collective 5 goals .
That's a huge output to try and cover other than one 5 goal performance from Kemp with a useless small forward brigade we are all at sea in our forwardline without the influence of Mckay & Curnow at or near their best .

Never seen a less spirited performance? The players just dropped their heads the moment it got hard and threw in the towel. We had no answers and no care either the ball, the amount of times we soccered it straight to a Collingwood player OMG.. Something is seriously rotten.

I read it slightly differently.

It’s just their confidence completely fell apart.
