Anything good on Netflix HBF? Maybe we need a new thread about good shows to watch. :)
There is a whole board dedicated to TV [emoji3]
Watch episode 3 of Adolesence.
Watching the final episode tonight if Mebby isn't too tired

No one can tell me that professional footballers can’t routinely hit targets by foot or hand unless they are under serious pressure. Sure, mistakes occur but our disposal is comical and it gets worse the longer the game goes.
Players lacking confidence can be result of a lack of belief or conviction in “the plan”.
This is not a team or club that believes what Voss is trying to sell. Sorry.

Cameron is OOC at the end of 2026

Don't know why he'd leave you anyway. Was bog average when he got to you and you've helped him take the next steps to becoming a really good AFL player.

What was Voss' presser? Avoided questions in the clumsiest way I've seen in some time. What's the point in doing a presser if you're just going to flounder for ten minutes. The supporters deserve a little more.

He's lost the plot and hasn't got a clue what's going on.He and the footy department are as cooked as cooked can be.

Will take a miracle to turn it around from here.

This club also has a habit of burning through coaches for seemingly no great return, maybe we should also be looking in other areas as to why that is.

Our forward craft has stink it up for how many years?

Who is in charge of this debacle
Actually, the last 2 games we have definitely been trying to find a short target, and we have been scoring goals this way for the first half each games.

What comes next in the second half though...
It's not just the forward line, we just can't move the ball from half back. Everyone goes to shit and stops running. The forwards don't even touch the ball.

Did anyone see Petraccas reaction after the loss to Geelong. Would love the boys (other than Silvagni who does) to show a bit of despair when they get embarrassed like they did Thursday. Show you actually give a **** about your performance and the club.
I agree to a point, I’m sure the players know it’s a bad look to be all smiles after an embarrassing performance but the footy landscape has changed.

These players grow up along side opponents and develop strong ties. Draft day separates them into different colours.

It really grates on us but for the players it’s a job and they have a love/hate relationship with supporters. They are constantly told to ignore the outside noise and that’s us and the media. So they will say “these are mates, we are not robots and the siren has sounded”.

As long as we as supporters can see in the players a desperation to win in game, I don’t really care what they do post game.

Jack really cares about the blues…

He grew up when his dad played for us and he spent a lot of time at the club…

It’s in grained in him and he has his dads competitive edge

Because of that I think being a blues player means more to him than any other player currently playing for us…

Watched the third quarter.

First two goals to them shouldn’t have happened, Haynes didn’t compete with Elliott allowing Degoey to score (TDK could have gone at it too) and Doc didn’t jump in front of schultz.

Being pantsed out of the middle was ordinary as well. Apart from George who was essentially a lone hand the others didn’t step up.

It also seems the players have been instructed to kick it off the deck when under pressure thanks to the ridiculous interpretation of the holding the ball/prior opportunity rule which is allowing the opposition a look at possession. A lot of our players are doing it and in the wrong spots, although one who always picks the ball up is George.

The 50 against Kemp was atrocious in that he was given no time to react. Gov’s kick to a contest creating a turnover for another goal, Walsh didn’t go hard enough at Perryman, Ollie’s mis kick for almost another goal.

Voss is not wrong, a whole lot of little moments where we weren’t composed which gave them momentum and once you have that you run that little bit faster, you compete that little bit harder.

So much of the quarter was about mental application, just have no idea why they can’t come back out with a start of game attitude.

Our main problem is that you can count the fingers on one hand the players that you know you will get unconditional effort from each week. The game plan and skill execution and athletic abilities of our players all play a part in how we're performing but competitiveness and will to win are the keys to success.

I think the club needs to recognise that the time for regeneration has to start now. We can't waste this year hoping that this group will turn it around. The evidence is too obvious that this group is not up to it and by group I mean playing and coaching personnel.

This is not to say that there is nothing to work with. We have the hard task of deciding which of our elite playing core and coaches stay and who goes in order for us to facilitate the regeneration. It's problematic but it has to be done with purpose and commitment.

Will the above happen now. Probably not.

If we continue as we're currently going things will turn to complete shite, if we're not there already.

I hope that things turn around from next week but I just can't see it. I will continue to hope for a win each week. We may and should beat WC but what will it change that suddenly makes us a contender again.
