Hipwood gonna get a big score today.
Lachie will end up best

NWM another solid game
Zorko another big game from the older generation.

(Maybe bias) but reckon he was better than NWM today and would be right in the running still

Jack Higgins has to be in conversation now.

Scoring snags and bringing good pressure.
Paul Curtis Vs Higgins

PS: I wish Curtis would stop staging. Love his game, but not that!

Curtis has been significantly better than Higgins. Curtis been having more involvement entering 50. Total is simply all relevant stats weighted.

At this stage, Curtis every day of the week.

Here's the list of Mid and Small forwards ranked by goal average.

IF we're going for a mid for a 3rd forward, and perhaps 3 smalls.

My forward line looks like this

Talls: 1. Thillthorpe 2. Treacey
Third up/Mid Forward: 1. Ben Long
Smalls: 1. Toby Greene 2. Paul Curtis 3. Dangerfield

Not sure if Rankine qualifies as a forward, but would 100% be straight up pick.

Touched a nerve huh.

No banter here… As stated IMO, the coaches award is not an award to be judging Nick over. Over the years your coach gives Nick 5 votes for turning up.

PS: Collingwood have nothing and no one for me or any other Carlton supporter to be jealous over.

Also IMO Daicos certainly should be in the conversation and will likely be in the team at the end of the year. Just not based off coaches votes.
Really?

If you can give me last years breakdown of which coach gave how many votes to Daicos this year, last year and the year before I’d be happy for you to post it.

Otherwise put up and shut up.

Absolute codswallop and as SOTY pointed out, childish.

Don’t watch enough of the other games.

But for Collingwood I would say Nick is obviously a lock, Darcy Cameron in the ruck would be very close and old man Sidebottom would be close, maybe on the wing.

I’d be happy with those 3 from the Pies.

Likewise,
Freo should have 3 in at the moment

Andrew Brayshaw
1st Score inv
4th tackles

Treacy
1st Goals
1st Marks on lead

Serong
1st contested possesion
1st clearance

Ben King leading goal kicking but doing less holistically than other players. 40ppg vs 50ppg for stats. Struggling to work out how much of the other stuff is of value. Statwise its worth 2 goals

Love the effort put in, have zero issues if Curtis gets in teams now, but it is good that 1/4 through the season there are a fair few contenders for all sports from all clubs (maybe not west coast or Richmond atm)

I only just got home from the game so didn't see it on the TV to know how he looked in close... But get George Hewett in there. What a man!

Here's my top 20 after round 7 ranked by total score

My tip for the Brownlow: Given Hewett, Gawn and De Koning will likely be getting ignored I'd say

Brayshaw is leading to Daicos. Butters probably has 9 votes at least. Libba probably doing well.
