Is everyone forgetting that Bevo has said Libba will be rested this year too? I could almost look past his bye, but the fact he'll get rested, is enough to put me off.

Any point bringing in Bont this week? I realised that I can downgrade Stone to Simpson in FWD, and then trade Finn out... I can either downgrade Finn, or upgrade to Bont - I'll have enough cash.

However, given he has a bye the next week, would anyone advise against it? If so, what would you do with that trade instead?

Depends on how many players you currently have on the R12 Bye

I wouldn't. I think many of us are really going to struggle to complete our teams this year.

Hewett to Simpson currently. Think that's all I'll do I should have cover for JHF and Macrae. Take 200k into next week and probably just grab kiddy and then focus on getting Zerrett and Bont after his bye. Then butters. All coming down in price so it's worked out perfectly.

Re:Finn - there is probably a dozen good options to trade him too. Look at you byes, and go from there.

That pic reminds me of why I rage traded SPP after round 1. That's certainly come back to bite me, could have done with the ~$200k that Sam has made.

As we're yet to get confirmation of the bad news on Macrae, Lindsay and NWM, I'm taking this opportunity to trade as if they're all fine.

Hewett --> Simpson
Callaghan --> Anderson

Even if the abovementioned 3 all miss, I could cover them with 3 of MHall/Gross/Cleary/Simpson/El Hawli/Carroll. But that leaves a lot of coin riding the pine. Then again, half of those rookies could be dropped, who tf knows.

Was saying it earlier it’s a genuine chance. No callaghan now and looking at the stats on the afl app it’d be hard to ignore - 39 touches, 4 marks, 6 tackles. GWS will have to get creative, helps Leake is on the bubble

Yep. Not sure if Kelly being not far off affects that but with Callaghan news looking like he’s out until after the byes, he could end up being a perfect cover man for all bye rounds since GWS have the final bye. Helps he’s on the bubble too

Just a thought I’ve had to. Would have 2 rookies on the bubble this week with no real other options exactly on the horizon. Could be worth considering as would build a nice bank and some flexibility for when we have 3 trades a week at our disposal from next week onwards
