So averaging around 100 against Hawthorn over his last two. Absolutely perfect!

If I had the choice it would be Butler over Pedlar going forward.

I can't see Pedlar lasting long term in the Crows team.

Adelaide has less injuries than Hawthorn. If Pedlar's getting a run this weekend, you'd think it's his spot to lose.

Yeah it's fine with an R3 DPP, I just don't know too many people that have one at the moment.

In hindsight, starting Boyd was a shocking call. Should've went with AReid due to DPP – Boyd could've just been a corrective trade if needed after Round 2.

really weighing up bont and bergman vs butters and caldwell. i like that bont and bergman have both has their byes but caldwell definitely has better scoring pedigree than bergman. not sure

What a time to be alive. People are trading in Luke Pedlar. Asshat Jason Prior is STILL in my team. Isaac Kako remains an on field fixture in my forward line. But the exact moment my season died was early in the year when I drunk rage traded a late out Tom Stewart for James Sicily. Sigh.

So gotta fix THAT problem first.

He's actually turned out to be a great rook. More just he's been in the gun to get culled about 3 times and keeps finding a score to just stay in growth mode!

Madden has been rewarded with his maiden AFL selection off the back of some brilliant form in the VFL, with the Riverina product averaging 19.9 disposals, 33.1 hitouts, 6.2 clearances, 3.7 marks (1.2 contested), and three tackles per game across nine VFL matches so far this season.

Can he play anywhere else other than inside mid?

I think that is Hall's biggest obstacle to a recall. He probably needs an injury to the likes of a Kelly/Harley/Graham/Hewett. IIRC he has only gotten a game when one or more of those 4 are unavailable.

But sometimes sustained form in the 2s just needs to be rewarded, even if its a bit of a square peg round hole job. I honestly would like to see it just to stop the "Where is Clay Hall?" posts every week.

All of that said, if I was mini I too wouldn't pick him for our side with the above 4 all fit and firing.

We'll find out soon though!

With confirmation of Laird returning and Draper playing in the 2's the starting sub vest is calling Peds this week for sure.

Nicks might go crazy and start with Smith/Laird/Cumming type sub but I highly doubt that.

The predicted rain though may see Tex subbed out 15 minutes into the first for team balance so there is a silver lining sort of.

he has tonned up 2/3 in his new midfield role and the one miss was when port got decimated by injury and he went back to the backline. reportedly training with the mids this week and bye already gone. maybe i’m just trying to convince myself he’s a good pick cause i can’t afford caldwell but i reckon he’ll go alright
