He’s been excellent for a month, if not more. He deserves the midfield spot, one rough quarter doesn’t change that.
I agree he has been solid. But jeez he needs to take the next step. He is 25 yo and been at the Giants for 6-7 years now. Tidy a few things up and he can be a good player

Stringer is having a great game so far. 3 goals and is looking in great form. We have come out focussed and ready to play this quarter- Geelong look shell shocked!

Our inexplicable ability to lose focus is letting us down again. After keeping them scoreless the whole quarter, we let Geelong score 2 goals in the last couple of minutes. Undid all of our great work in the 2nd quarter, and they are just 1 goal behind us.

Still a 5 goal to 2 qtr. Playing pretty well so far, but we could have had a 4 goal lead.

The youth:

Rowston 20
Fonti 20
Thomas 20 (sub)
Jones 21
Cadman 21

All looked pretty solid so far
Fonti has been very shaky, trying to be the hero too often

Got a feeling this will go down to the wire. We are missing goals we normally nail
The good thing is that all of Kingsley’s 3 wins against Geelong had margins ranging from 4 points to 7 points. He is yet to lose to Chris Scott, and we seem to have a psychological edge against them. Chris Scott will be desperate to stop this trend and prove that he’s the top cat!
