With those players available, we would have several other games and be competitive in the ones we lost ... but then
for any observant Carlton fan, that is stating the o

Would we have won this game with Silvagni, McKay, Walsh, Hollands, Saad, Cotterell, Kemp, Newman, jagga.
Weren't these guys available round 1-4, and round 19 to 24 last year?

Missing McKay…Charlie )besides his misses) was ok, he got up the ground, marked a few jumped at the highest point and brought a few to ground.

The problem is when it he gets it on a wing he either has to lace out a 60m pass to the pocket or hit up an inboard kick.

From there we have literally no one presenting in the forward line

Lemmey is not ready - there would be no benefit in playing him.
I absolutely disagree.
With the season dead, and all senior tall forwards either out or completely out of form, why wouldn't you play the developing tall forward who has size, has been on the list for a number of years, and is taking marks and kicking goals in the seconds?
If only for 1 game and to give him the experience of top flight football at a premier stadium in Victoria, and to show him that you have trust in his effort and ability.

Respectfully, your statement is pure nonsense - there is absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The whole night no-one was presenting.

Take a look at the afl tracker on the app. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more positive spread of data in a losing team. Most of the top distance covered. Sprints, repeat efforts, speed offensively and defensively which is incredibly rare. Km travelled.
Yep. The boys today did what was asked. That’s the best they have tried in 4 weeks. Problem is the structures and setups don’t assist them.
How many times were we able to kick to clear lead or even clear space into our F50 compared to Brisbane?
How many times were we able to clear our D50 with some clear space, compared to Brisbane? Our kickin setups are all = to go long.
How many times did we get a clear handball through the middle of the ground to open players outside the contest? Tonight at the very least, there was some kind of an attempt but no setup and structure or team knowledge.
It’s just too hard for us compared to our opposition.

I think Brisbane have had the best list for 4 years now and gets better every year.

They really should be flag favourites.

Challenging run home for them but what an outfit when they get focused.

They play Dogs, Suns, Pies and Hawks and Dockers in Perth.

I reckon I’ll watch all of them just to see what they’re capable of.

And to add to that they ctually started their rebuild after us. Compare the pair.

There are some really damning questions in here. The answers scare me. Are players wanting to trade out of the end of the year? Weiters looks checked out for example. Are we building foundations of weakness into our young guns?

I think they need to be sold on the vision that Wright brings to the club and the extended vision of who and what he brings into the club in terms of HoF, any coaching changes, etc

Just as many questions off the field as on it. A club that is humming off the field will help get the on field product humming.

In many ways this was always the transition year that we were going to have. Answers to the most important off field questions will come next month. From there those in the public's gaze can make their decisions

One thing is for certain. The vision that they need to buy into isn't the one that they had previously. Interesting times ahead and that's not all bad

Irrelevant - all teams have injooreeez!

Voss bad game plan and should teach players how to kick and handball and tackle moooooore

sack!

PS I call BS on VOss has lost players they actually tried that was the funnysad part- the team is slower and les skilled and less experienced than Brisbane BIG SURPRISE!

I'm just glad to see us playing more kids. I can forgive dumb mistakes from kids. On that score, the match committee are doing the right thing.

I don't blame Voss for experienced players making basic skill and decision errors. They all know better. We'd be better off kicking chaos balls into our forward 50 than trying to pinpoint someone. At least the opposition wouldn't be able to mark uncontested.

O'Farrell and Carroll are the future. I hope Moir can see what he needs to become. Not sure about Young, but good to see him tested at the top level. Now for the rest of the kids. They should all have a taste by year's end.

Bizarre opinion honestly. He's been in the system three years now, most of that playing in a fairly average to awful VFL team. He's started to show a fair bit recently, much more than Curnow and TDK, and he should be rewarded as such. Can't be any worse than what we have now and gives him some exposure at AFL level. At this stage of McKay's journey (first three seasons) he played 15 games and had kicked 24 goals, would have likely been a handful more if it wasn't for injuries in his first season.
