Not that I read every page but Cerra really flies under the radar for criticism. He is proving to be a genuine bust. His job is to be the clean possession midfielder but he can’t kick or handball to advantage, which is made the worst by him being soft.
He is playing average football. He is still clean, watch his ground ball gets. But his disposals have very little hurt factor. I would also say he is operating at 90 % intensity. So it's hard to say he is not good enough, because he has more to give. But his 90% is still better than what we have so there is no selection pressure on his position.

Yep Gov is a redundant back man now

Forward for the rest of the year and then it’s head to head V Kemp (once he’s fully fit) for the 3rd tall spot
Kemp won’t be 100% until halfway through next year. Haynes plays the role of intercepting defender, JSOS, the second KPD and Weitering the primary KPD. We don’t need a 4th tall.

Didn’t we win like 14 in a row with Fog in the team?
I'm a big fan of Fogarty, but the reality is we can't afford his lack of scoreboard impact when the team is so out of form. He's a pressure player, more of a 'cherry on top' type, who thrives in a functioning forward line. Right now, we just don't have that.

Yeah, his skill drop has been noticeable, but honestly, I can forgive that a bit. The whole side looks completely lost. Any structure we had is gone, and that kind of chaos always impacts individual performance. Guys aren't on the same page, they're second-guessing, and trying to force things, it’s no wonder the skills are falling away.

No leadership.
Skills deplorable.
No spirit.
Zero confidence.

Not sure how we turn this around.

I would have thought effort and looking after your mates were non-negotiables. But I appear to be wrong.

That not one player remonstrated with Bailey after his cheap shot on Haynes is another indicator that this group of individuals (they are not a team), have no leadership, no player with a backbone and no player with the propensity to fly the flag.

So disappointing.

Incredibly impressive against strong opposition

Looks a natural when he needs to go. Don’t like that he’s been left out to dry by being placed as a pure one-on-one defender at times. Hes a stick at the moment, so of course he will struggle in that aspect. Really excited to see him develop

In fairness, he was the only soldier available JSOS and Lewis Young joined Kemp on the injured list. Haynes not a key defender, nor is McGovern.

Hopefully when Jack is back we consider keeping him as more of an interceptor for a game or two. Will not do him any harm to go back to the twos to finish the year. He has shown us what he offers long term and we should look at fast tracking him next year after a big off season in the gym. Doesn’t have the body type to be a big bopper, but will be one of those rangy, deceptively strong types going forward. Speaking of going forward, I think he can be a genuine swing man if needed. With Dean coming for next year, we may well see HOF spend some time forward given we will still have Weitering and Silvagni for a few years yet.
