Anyone else notice Briggs is back to playing near his form of 2023. Taking marks, clean hit outs to advantage and winning the ball in the middle.

Maybe the time out with his ankle allowed him to get the shoulder right and he is now getting confidence in it back.
He was a bit slow to start against Grundy, though. And Grundy had better stats over the whole game - although Swans had to use him as a marking outlet because nothing else was working for them, while we had plenty of options.

Definitely Briggs is better than earlier this year, but still working towards his best form IMHO.

Grundy’s the best ruck in the comp …. He beat briggsy but briggsy competed hard

Agreed. He had become a liability earlier in the year and it was part of the reason the mids got smashed each week. If he can just square up the ruck battle it will help us break even in midfield and the rest of our game plan will get it done.

There isn’t a lot of dominant rucks in the top 9 and if we make it 1 will
