Still weighing up whether I use one or 2 trades to downgrade rookies this week to free up some cash to upgrade Oliver for finals and leave me with some cash to get Xerri back in semi final weekend. .

He has the last four times they've played – solid enough scoring after the first time, but wouldn't expect anything massive:

• 2025 Round 8: 111
• 2024 QF: 100
• 2024 Round 15: 105
• 2024 Round 8: 54

My guess is Jordan goes to Callaghan and is Campbell keeps a eye on Whitfield but not a hard tag. Honestly they should tag Ash before Whitfield.

I dumped TDK for DCameron, with a little Zak Johnson to Taj Hotton spice mixed in.

Still got rookies on field like a chump, so will pile all my Clarke/Hall/May cash together next week and try to buy a real player.

On face value, not a terrible idea, but Marshall's last four games are nearly the perfect run for rucks: Teakle, Nank, Goldstein, Briggs.

But yeah, would hurt not having Gawn for the Marshall, Flynn, English, Meek run, too.

Yeah, its a good point. I do like Flanders with Touk and Rioli out of the team though. Then the issue is, if I spend all/most of touks cash and a TDK or Mills type gets injured, I'm screwed for replacements.

Yeah that's fair. There's definitely some value there, but he's still not getting decent CBAs or any kick-ins (that being said, haven't seen the role without Rioli yet).

Get the logic, although I suppose you'd be trading into another Mills/TDK-level guy with Flanders, so you'd potentially be upping your risk anyway.

Anyway, back your gut. Flanders was unreal last year.

My thoughts are to use 2 trades:
Shanahan -> Rankin or Jackson
Johnson -> any cheap defender (McCarthy to FLEX)

Rowston (Swing McCarthy to mid) > 99k mid/def
Johnson > best available mid

Or

Swing McCarthy to flex, SEL to def and Johnson to mid.

Then Rowston > rookie and Shanahan > best available fwd
