Smaller and quicker in the middle so Durdin goes in there. He can rest forward.

Saad sub, replaces which ever defender runs out of gas.

Hollands wing and defence.

Happy to see Cowan in the midfield, either onball or wing.

Happy to see Young come straight back in but hard to find a spot.

Despite a fitness drop off after throat/chest injuries - and presumably wear and tear after playing like a man possessed for 30 games straight - he's still our best ruck, tired of reading the emotionally blinkered commentary on the matter.

At this stage he is still a contracted Carlton player until the end of the season.

Unless he has told the club he wants out then why wouldn't they play him?

Best fit for the side this week, Pitto v Darcy and Jackson

If he is still willing to put his hand up and play, we play him. Everyone is saying he is just going through the motions, but so are many others. All the players look exhausted and mentally fatigued. TDK is still our best option.

Not sure what is going on around the change rooms but they need to keep our best players out there at least for the young blokes pushing through. I would like to give him a different role to finish off the season but can't see it happening. HOK hasn't played for weeks, so sending him or Harry, just back from injury, into the ruck against two strong ruck man would be lambs to slaughter.

What's the benefit to playing him though? Win/loss is irrelevant for us now this season.

Him with Harry and Cripps spelling him in 20% of general stoppages remains the way we best develop and integrate more runners in the team.

Pitto is a complete waste of time because he always comes at a price. He is a backup, and if we're looking at players like Ned Reeves, the club understands this too.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to believe we don't pay him as a backup, which needs to be fixed by means of trade, even if we're paying 20-30% of his salary.
