Phew.. that's a relief, Toby saves the day. A good pre finals hit out with Daniels, stringer, coniglio to come back hopefully. The back line wasn't great today, really needs Buckley instead of aleer, but they did create heaps of attack.

OK, so not having an easy win was not ideal from a fan perspective ... but maybe it was good for the boys having to grind out a hard win. Remind them how they will need to be at 100% for finals.

Yeah I think Daniels played yesterday in the vfl, which means maybe stringer should be the sub, he's a match winner and dangerous when the legs are fresh so could be the ideal sub. Similar to when he won the game against the suns coming on last time.

He was great as a sub on his return earlier so can see them doing that again.

Yes. In retrospect probably good for our lads and great teachable moments for Kingsley and the coaching team. We will not be complacent in our finals, and I think we will learn more from this “almost lost” game, than Geelong will from their % boosting thrashing of teams in recent weeks
