Was a bit worried watching gawn against freo, he kept standing in front of packs and got smashed about [emoji639] times in a few minutes. I know he’s always done this but I’m just wondering at [emoji639][emoji639]yo how many more hits that body can take before he starts missing games. Took [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] seconds to get up from a few of them. Then proceeded to murder reidy all day which isn’t saying much but still. The scariest anti pod probably.

Always better to start with an injury risk than trade them in. Saves a trade or two

I'm a big North fan, so if I'm choosing between Max and X, I'll lean towards X. I then can't fit Max in with the rest of the team, as he's even more $$$.

What are your thoughts on the two options?

I have both at R1 and R2....I normally won't pick Suns players as I don't know if the decision I make is done with my heart or my head...so I understand where you're coming from with X.

Gawn did look like he was declining (139 - 120 - 113 - 104 in seasons previous to 2024) but he in my opinion plays a longevity friendly game as far as rucks go. Full pre season, better team or at least a better midfield than he had in 2024, still a solo ruck, gets bulk points from intercept and contested marks (again, as far as rucks go).

Gets Keeffe & SDK early, and after he absolutely killed Marshall last year when they played I’m happy he’s got St Kilda twice. He can score big against anyone, but nice to have some soft kills too.

I reckon start with him & you can maximise his 170+ games, knowing full well he isn’t as consistent a scorer as a premo mid. So you want him When he has more chance of going 170 and I think that’s the start of the year

What sort of trades are you making and who are you trading Flynn to?

Xerri and TDK locked. Every year I try to be smart with doing some fancy R1/R2/R3 switcheroo but end up ****ing it up due to other injuries in the other lines.

nope. TDK has a higher ceiling than any other player at that price so why not?
3 premo rucks almost feels like a cheat code if you can make it work and with the amount of rookies and mid-pricers available it shouldn’t be too hard.

the only downside is missing out on Flynn who could be a handy earner.
