I know the Cats won last year but surely can’t throw SDK to the (Darcy Cameron) wolves again? That’s just the worst match up in the league for him in the ruck I’d say because Cameron is physically dominant over him in the ruck but can nearly go 1 for 1 with him impact around the ground (more of a marking impact than a midfielder impact but still).

I doubt that happens. McKay will be back from concussion in Round 7 so he will be able to help out down forward in the ruck.

Starting with the guy who’s now out injured was the go in hindsight? Yeah, nah.

Any combination of TDK, Gawn, Xerri has been the go to this point. Perhaps Cameron as a fourth.

What I meant was - if you’d started jackson for first 4 weeks and then sideways him to Gawn

You’d be up around 70/80pts and have an extra 90 odd K in the bank

Upside is less with Xerri but you’d still be up on points and cash itb

But down a trade. I got a Humpa, Maric and Bice that week which were all must haves at the time, although Humpa ended up being a ****ing disaster. Would have had to miss getting one to deal with Rucks.

I’m always looking for set and forget Rucks. Injury aside (obviously can’t predict them) but Jackson wasn’t an option for me because Darcy was out first few weeks and him returning would screw Jackson resulting in a likely trade.

Yeah you’re right. Mentioned a couple weeks ago one of my friends in my cashie was 10th overall and he started TDK and Jackson.
Traded Jackson to Gawn and hasn’t missed a beat.

I didn’t start Xerri and his bigger scores came a week or two earlier than I would’ve liked but he comes in this week for Flynn. Whereas if you didn’t start Gawn how would you plan on getting a 700k player?
