The difficulty draft watchers are having coming up with any kind of a phantom draft increases the respect one has for Cal Twomey and his phantom draft. He really has put in a tremendous amount of work over a long period (especially cultivating many relationships with people in clubland) to be as good as he is.

I think we're probably OK with not matching Yerbury. We have plenty of players similar to her. I will be seriously annoyed if we miss either Neyland or Quinn. I would rather have had the three of them than Smith. GWS need to remember they have 3 excellent prospects in next years draft who would all look good in Swans colours.

We still have to match our high draft prospects next year Grace Tracey foremost. We dont have a first pick next year so im not really sure how wed have a chance to play that card. It is what it is. Im just happy if we get 2 of the girls this year to add to Holly and Amelia. Who knows who else we'll pick up from our Academy later in the draft or in the pre season draft Grace P. , Amaia , Cassidy or perhaps another nugget like Lara later in the draft.

Don’t think I agree we have plenty of players like her. I think she has, with a bit of midfield height and some pace, the potential to complement the likes of Laura, Tanya and Sophia in our midfield.

But definitely want Neyland as a priority.

I'm not clear how many list spots we have but I'm in favour of using the draft to get as much talent as we can in the door.

I thought it was starting at 7 but I've been checking the blogs on afl.com.au and fox but it doesn't appear to have started. I suppose it was 7 for a 7.30 PM start. We're meant to be going out soon, but I'd rather see the draft. Doesn't appear to be anywhere we can watch anything free to air (7plus or afl.com.au).

Gotta say it's sad to miss Kiera - she looks an absolute gun. When I saw her highlights, especially her dual footedness, just a week or two ago, I started getting excited. But I think getting a tall was the right priority even though I do think we need more quality mids too.

Im fine with her getting used to Henson as her home ground till she comes back to us. I must say those highlights of her looked good. Ps Sunny Lappin looks like a ready made midfield star.

its funny how the draft experts know so little. No idea about future star Quinn and Macie. She gave a wonderful shout out to Quinn helping her in her recovery.

I hope you're right but I think it's more likely that she will stay with the Giants (and probably better for the competition that way too). Just like Doyle has.
