Xander’s mail has been pretty poor to date.

Expect Bailey to re-sign in the near future off the back of this.

Yep, not getting too excited.

Also, every player Collingwood has been linked to in the last 12 months have proceeded to re-sign with their current club or join another rival.

This is the managers new ploy of squeezing $$$ out of clubs, start the rumours early....squeeze em all year and then whack the club at the end.
And yet it never happens to the mob in your neck of the woods! Seriously $1.5m at Holmes and $1m at Miers. Clubs need to start doing it to them.

Don't know what the state of his contract now is but can we now see if Tanner Bruhn is available as a SSP pick.
Particularly given what was presented in court . Appears the whole thing shouldn't have gone as far as it did through the courts. Especially with witnesses admitting doctoring their statements

Isn't he still on Geelong list

A reason Bailey may want to leave could be the promise of more midfield time if he wants, with the depth of Brisbane's midfield and the youth coming through the club might be more open to letting him go. We can definitely offer him a permanent midfield spot, but Adelaide can do the same.

Yeah but they also offer him living in Adelaide

Looking at the picks between our Picks 39 and 45 and ignoring the potential for either trades or the residue from a matched earlier pick being added between our selections, there may not be a "live" selection bracketing our two first picks:
Pick 40 - Cats - may be Mellor as they won't be able to match a later pick
Pick 41 - Eagles - Not sure what will happen here, possibly consumed by a match for Williams
Pick 42 - Swans - likely to be part of a matched bid on their academy draftees
Pick 43 - Blues- likely to be part of a matched bid on Ison
Pick 44 - Lions- likely to be part of a matched bid on Waller, Bridge or Prindable

Good luck to Fin out west. Didn't see any stand out attributes that set him above being a very good VFL player, but who knows. A fresh environment and a second chance sometimes spurs players on.
Playing in a VFL Standard team though😉

It doesn't really matter if he gets past our pick - it matters that he gets close enough that only one of them is used to match him.

How do you get a contracted player via SSP? 🤨

I posted that I didn't know the state of he's contract.
If he's contracted no way to get him.
Should've made a trade in trade period.
Why would Geelong have traded him?

Maybe you should have googled his contract situation before posting.

Not to mention, why would any club consider enquiring about a player whilst they were still the subject of serious allegations in court. Which was the case during trade week.

You have some weird takes my dude. 🤟
I’m almost certain it’s trolling. Not even Cheech and Chong could have come up with the team change suggestions we saw week to week and then this.
