The dogs are in a bit of strife with JUH’s salary, and that according to rumours some dogs players won’t play with him.

Is this an opportunity for us to take on part of his salary and get a first round pick that we then offload to trade in a top end mid?

Would only really work if we feel like we can resurrect JUH’s career.

Yeah we are only a chance next year when he is a free agent. Don't think anyone has enough to satisfy Port this year. Especially after losing Houston for unders.

Definitely will need to dig into future picks, just need to find a buyer. But they'll work through it.

I think it will be harder than expected to trade future picks in for points or trade down for points - lots of clubs will be trying to do it.

However, I expect there will be a couple of departures with a bit of value. There has been a couple every year recently. God knows who.

Of all the players “potentially” we have coverage for, is probably Maynard. And i hate saying it…

I don’t want Cameron leaving as we will never get anything near his value to us. Want him signed up like bobby just was. We have no coverage for him.

I can see a scenario where one or both of McReery and IQ requested trades.*

I don’t see us being able to make a Butters trade work, but if McReery requests a trade home it at least nudges the door ajar.

*I’m not advocating for it just putting names out there who’d have value and could be expendable to the club.

If Cameron pushed it (and only if he pushed it) you could talk to Freo about Jackson, he's hell bent on coming back, or you could talk to WC about Allen or their first pick.

Gettable are spot on, hopefully, CFC can prise additional young talent with the promise of playing beside exceptional midfielders such as:

• Daicos Brothers
• Peddles
• Sidebottom
• De Goey
• Mitchell

Another high end young mid-fielder to complement Nick, would be gold.
