Edit: I think he was out of contract last year, but was still obviously contracted during the traded period for carlton to have the right to trade him.

Still confused how that works as owies would have been an UFA.

Where he lost me was the day Ginni kicked a goal, Roos players got into Ginni after the celebration. Henry, who was so close , he was looking for the give off before the goal was kicked. Ran next to Ginni and exited stage left as soon as the scuffle started.

His biggest problem is that he’s a one trick pony and the trick is only so good when you’re 188cm. Not adding another string to his bow or developing a single defensive bone is killing his game. I’d be rolling the dice with him as a defender.

Fly has a background as development coach. I dont think he is anti development. But I do agree some of his decisions around some younger guys have been a bit harsh. He does seem very loyal to the guys who have played well for him in the past (although god only knows why he is seemingly in love with Lipinski).

Yeah his brother is a solid defender so surely they have something to work with to keep his Mum proud

Probably not and he’s been in some quality environments without it ever being tested, but he’s got talent so I’d give it a shot. Allan reminds me of him with his trick being his running. Both are all cream no filling.

Had a long debate with another poster at the time that Henry’s size was going to be his challenge in holding down a KPF - and therefore wouldn’t be a great loss.
Geel have tried him on the wing but Dempsey is far better as a wingman, and Neale is obviously a better KPF size.
