What’s a general fwd? You’re either a tall or small - he can’t do either role.

Jai Serong could be a cheap option given his contract expires at the end of this season.

Hawthorn saw enough in him to bring him into their semi-final with Port last season, despite it only being his 10th game. Box Hill are currently 2nd on the VFL ladder, having conceded the second least amount of points, behind only the Dogs who are top.

Also, I don’t see how the Dogs could be an attractive club.
No questioning their environment but is the Matt Kennedy connection really going to mean more to him than playing at the MCG every week (his favourite venue BTW) and in the biggest games outside of the Grand Final?

Imagine having the prospect of that in front of you and then choosing a tiny Marvel tenant. It’s embarrassing that Cleary and co believe it’s a perfect fit for him. Not only that, that he’d choose an ex teammate over his childhood best mate and best man at his wedding who he’s never had the opportunity to even play alongside at the highest level. I mean, even Houston tried desperately to get to Carlton knowing Jack was there.
