AFL and integrity are like oil and water. There is zero game integrity at the moment. The main excuse is always "theyre just run better". Tin foil hat or not, I dont believe they are far and away better than every other Victorian club in their list management. Furthermore, its crazy to think no other club over the last 15-20 years could catch up on this practice, especially considering how personnel moves to different clubs and would absolutely be taking this IP with them.
Unsubstantiated bullshit.

For a start, Geelong have not been the most successful club over the last 15-20 years. So you think Hawthorn is doing something dodgy too?

Ryan also - he’s ahead of TJ
are all these blokes any good? With a backline under fire as it has been in the last few weeks, the fact that Dean keeps getting a shot and not one of Ryan/TJ/Cochran etc have been sighted, tells me they aren’t. Is our VFL some sort of long term development squad? HDM, McRae are others who have been on the list for years but not gotten close. Might be a bit harsh though if some of these boys have been injured, but it’s frustrating to keep hearing these names but they are nowhere to be seen at AFL level

Cochran's in his first year. TJ & Ryan have been injured. And none of them are kpd.

Whats unsubstantiated? The AFLs current integrity? Mate you love arguing with people on here, Ive got no interest in your semantics and self righteous opinions. Jog on.

Hmm okay. I didn’t think Silvagni is quite the same mould as an Andrews or Collins or Barass. Maybe I need to go back and look at him again.
Our defence would be fine with Moore, Frampton, Howe/Silvalgni. It was one of the best defence up until Big Bill/Howe got injured.

I

So did Heath Shaw and Maxwell. They had some ripper barnies but both probably had their heart in the right place.
Shaw and Maxwell played together for years and developed a relationship.

Bit different to May coming along to an already established group and trying to assert his way.

Interesting info today.

Prior to DC re-signing, Marshall had discussed the possibility of coming to us with the impending arrival of TDK.

Not going to go into the source but it's about as close as you can get to big Rowan.

With Cameron staying it's very unlikely now.

The AFL is incompetent - the only salary cap breaches of any note usually require a whistle blower on the inside.

If there was a bit of transparency around third party deals and the amount each clubs in that regard, then maybe people night have confidence in the system.

I would also say that in respect of Armstrong Creek that Geelong are not the only club to have benefited - you can Google and see some nice windfalls. I have no doubt that certain clubs coterie groups help make things more enticing for the player to come over. You only have to look at certain seasons when certain clubs are all the rage despite being a mess. Whether the AFL looks over these things, I'm not sure but I don't have the same confidence that you do that everything is above board.

Maybe not. He can also play forward. If Checkers was to leave, for example, it could work. And Marshall would be a much better second ruck than Dan, allowing him to concentrate on just being a forward.

Good insurance for Cameron if he were to get injured. Particularly if Cox also leaves at the end of the year.

Ryan was ready till injured and missed most of the second half of the season.. TJ and Cochran weren’t showing the same form as Ryan.

You’re being completely disingenuous or naive - teams will not treat Bobby’s issues as PERMANENTLY affecting his prospects.
It’s not as if he’s got a debilitating injury that will impact his performance.
So as Eddie suggested, it’s absurd to seriously believe Bobby is worth less than Shooter.
Did Geel get shafted in the Kelly trade because he had family issues and wanted to go back to WA?
Tim kelly was one of the best midfielders in the game when he was traded back to WA. He also showed up to training and didn’t go awol for a big block of the season. Poor comparison

Who knows? There may well be cap breaches that have gone undetected. I'd say it's unlikely these days given the downside risk for administrators orchestrating/participating in such activities. If you were a club administrator, would you risk your career and potential liberty just so you could get some extra dough to players? It doesn't sound like a clever play.

But the idea that "Club X has been successful over a long period. They must be cheating.", is just lazy loser thinking.

I think the big question with him is if he even wants to play forward

I'm seeing if I can get any more goss on it but I doubt he leaves Saints for the same role.

Wants to be No 1 ruck.

James Hird thought that about us lol.

Why should I or others have faith in the AFL administration?
