I tend to agree. If both Cameron and Hill wish to go home, then we will be presented with a unique set of circumstances again and perhaps the inside track to acquire Reid. It's not without risk but it's making the best out of a situation not of our own making.

Doesn't make much sense:
- Silvagni in would dilute any Draper compo pick
- McKay (big $ till 2029), Ridley (contracted 2029), Reid (contracted 2028), Laverde,

That would be a very generous offer from West Coast and if it were me I'd bite their hand off.
I would expect West Coast to offer Reid and a late first round pick for Cameron and Hill. The pick would likely be in the 20s after academy and father/son picks.
They may want ready made players vs draft picks.

What I should have said, was let's forget about talking about it non stop.
The deal is on the table, Collingwood has said they won't raise the offer ( at leat that's what I read)
They've let him know we want him, If he wants to play with us he will, if he wants to go to the highest bidder then it likely won't be us.

If they both go, I'd be loading up on high end draft picks to make a play for Zak Butters, plus maybe pick up a couple of handy depth players preferably KPD.
Happy to let the Great Unproven Star Harley Reid and his $2m+ a year 11 year deal go through to the keeper. Or even better, to the Blooz or the Gold & Poo stripers so their list builds are f**ked for the next decade.
