Maybe package McCreery (if he really does want to go live in Queensland) and a future pick. This would only be feasible of Rowell indicates he wants to move back to Victoria EVEN though he just signed 2 more years.... it just makes his value go up from Suns perspective.

I was on the butters train, until i realised we need a lot of midfield depth, so we are better off investing all those draft picks needed for any butters trade in the draft.

We have to go all in and target “top end “ mids ( mids from 1-5) to pair with naicos. So trade whoever we have to , to make that happen.We have a generational player on our hands, to not surround him with top end talent is egregious.

Have to go all in on west coasts picks, and try to get 1 in the (1-5) range and another in the 5-15 range. Yes i am aware you can always find a gun mid later in the draft, but given our recent drafting history, I would much rather have our picks in near the top end where we have a greater chance of selecting a gun mid.

Talented players like rowell will not want to come to Collingwood given the huge list turnover that is going to happen over the next year .

We could. Bobby hill alone is worth two picks in the early 10’s, which when combined is fairly close to a top 2 pick.

Carlton did something similar to get pick 3 last year.
They gave up owies,12 and 14 for pick 3.
Hill is worth more than those , which negates the need to add in any sweetener.

Cameron is worth a pick in the early 10’s.
Baker was valued at pick 14, so go figure.

If I'm not mistaken (if we discount limited VFL mins and coming on as sub vs Brisbane) Bobby's last proper game of football was June 21 vs the Saints.

I think we need to roll the dice if he's available but if they said he's not ready again it wouldn't be too far fetched.

This draft isn’t as strong so the value of like for like picks is automatically less. If we can’t get a good deal for him picks/players wise this year, I’d be looking at a future first
