I thought De Goey was superb - he makes it look so easy.

Frampton I thought was really good. Really looked like a boss.

I reckon Fly will pick McStay for the Prelim. Dropping him might have been the reset he needed.

Hill also looked sharp for the white team. If he does get selected then he really does owe Eddie Betts.

I didn't watch the whole session, only the last 50 minutes.

His marking ability, looked strong in the contest, kicked a few goals. Had some confidence back.

His attitude seemed spot on. You couldn't tell he was dropped the week before.

Thought he marked the ball pretty well. One time he pretty much rag dolled Charlie Dean and then led and marked the ball.

I was happy he was dropped and it might have done him some good. Might play with more freedom now.

Pendles was at the top of the his draft board, just above Daisy. They took Daisy first because they knew Pendles would be there at 5.

Regardless of the strategy behind it, the selection was still best available rather than needs.

Yes, around 15ish. Regarded as a late first rounder. As I said, it’s irrelevant in context though, the only relevant draft board was Hines, and he had him up the top.

I was so dirty we didn’t take Ellis. He was the clear best pick. Pendles was not even in top ten discussions. I couldn’t believe we stuffed up our picks so badly. We wanted Hine sacked. Hine tried to justify the pick. Anyway it was too late. He’d picked him.

I’ve had #10 on my back for years and get told a 60 year old can’t wear a Collingwood jumper.
I don’t care. It’s Scott Pendlebury!
