I’m not usually a ‘training should be a boot camp no fun at all’ kinda fan, but the skills errors, lack of intensity and casualness towards the coaches instruction being posted as some big joke isn’t sitting well with me at this point of the season. Tone deaf to how our supporters are feeling.

It's just a pretty insipid display. If that is typical of training then it's no wonder we are where we are. I was a primary school teacher and my Year 6 class trained with more urgency than this lot. I have seen them live on many occasions also, and came away each time less than enthused by what I saw. The media department is doing the club no favours with videos like this. It would be nice at some stage to have seen a video where they all commit to improvement and train as such. It's nice to be able to enjoy your work place but come on!

I'm not a big fan of the players getting distracted from training to make dogshit quality 90 second YouTube videos generally. I agree they don't need to be whipped with a cat-o'-nine-tails but can they at least have their heads in their training sessions?

Ffs I know it's small but we shouldn't be tolerating this shit. We'd be running a 400 at my club with bratty back chat like that.

Just stfu and listen to the bloke who will probably be your head coach within a few years.

Honestly its not as bad as going to the players before the game at marvel and asking them which way is North.

(I'm not saying its good btw but before the game they shouldn't be distracted like that. WE got done by 100 points in that game.)

The club really is broken isn’t it.

When you see that sort of stuff it becomes less surprising that this group has been trying to learn the same defensive ground setup for 2 years now and still can’t execute it regularly.

I don't like it much either, rather they train at high intensity, but I don't reckon we'd be alone with this TikTok stuff.
Pies the other week had Daicos standing around saying "bro" to Quaynor at training which was supposed to be funny.
Giants were doing the Riverdance last week, then proceed to get touched up by 80 points by the Dogs.
But probably not the best time and place to be doing this type of stuff given our results.

The club really has no sense of how hard the supporter base is doing it. It's been a miserable six years and looking like it will continue into a seventh, and the media dept puts out this nonsense. They are in an insulated bubble of mediocrity.

Maybe focus on some content that is going to inspire North supporters to keep caring. The ones who catch a train from the country to watch a game at marvel, or who spend money on memberships they can just afford.

I will say this, I am sure you all have NMFC mates we work with, school dads etc and experience the same.

Never in my 50 years have I seen North Melbourne supporters so disengaged with the club and it’s now just a feeling of indifference.

This 2019-2025 periods damage to our future attendance and supporter loyalty and take up is going to be catastrophic.

We are losing a generation of supporters.

To be fair, we absolutely could use a detective around the club.

It'd just be more suited to investigating past decisions and logical current decisions rather than investigating the ins and outs of whatever that wankfest was

They probably should be whipped with a cat-o-nine-tails. If they want to stay in this league. Not a professional organisation. Been the case for quite a few years now

There's plenty of videos from other clubs where they are acting like clowns at training on TikTok, but they are winning.
But you could imagine the reaction if the Pies were down the bottom and Quaynor and Daicos are goofing about.
But I don't particularly like it, but I'm likely not the target audience that would think it's fun/funny.
