It's funny that, the longer the program the more opportunity for people to tune in the higher the reach. Who would've thought.

Yep, that's how people watch sport too.

Reach is purely a function of how long a sport goes for. People just randomly turn the TV on each week and by pot luck the sports game is on at the same time again so they decide to watch a bit.

This is absurd I know, but some people claim that as most people choose to watch some subset of a sporting event, average ratings falsely raise the deslusions of grandeur of fan boys of sports that go for less time......these elitists resort to complex mathematics that most leagueies miss out on because they have left school by then
