Do you know his ownership? I see a fair few people around here with him, and with all due respect, I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Two previous season averages of 51 and 58.
Missed a large chunk of the beginning of the season through injury.
Was a late withdrawal after being named for his first game back.
Has now played 4 games for an average of 49, with scores of 78, 53, 63 and 5.

You might be the person to ask, actually. What was the genuine expectation when selecting him?

Thought Sicily was a fairly low risk starting pick at 532K, with the potential for upside. Knew there was the possibility of being thrown forward, but did not expect this train wreck. I usually avoid players from my own team.

Yeah its like 50% lucky and 50% actually know what you are doing. There is so many media popping up these 2-3 years everyone just follows the same trend because its good. Back then you really had to do your own research in picks.

The last month or so has just been so shit. I’m aware these are all pretty popular players, but it still just sucks.

Macrae and JHF both go down with injury. Sucks, but I guess everyone has them.

Simpson is a good rookie, I’ll bring him in. Cop a zero and a 10 week injury. All good, I’ll trade him to Gray. Gets dropped after playing well and hurts himself in the VFL. Great. This is after the same thing happened with El Huli.

So now all I have is dead rookies and no cash gen, so burning trades left right and centre.

Put all my planning into the byes and what happens? Laird gets a rest first up. Then Roberts gets the flu. Then Smith is a late out.

While all this is happening whatever heartbeat of a rookie I have seems to get the green vest.

Such a shit show.

My planning this year was very poor. 8 trades remain with 4 rookies to upgrade (3 if you happy to have a rookie as your 23rd). I simply won’t finish a full premo side with a funeral home for a bench.

I will say that I think I have a very strong solid 19 premos I'm happy with but I’ll just have to hope for 55-70 scores from those 3-4 spots for now and hope the others crush a good score.

I’ve almost hit the SC wall of real zero Fs given. Only thing of interest is the Tragics1 league (lost 4 of last 5) after a 4-1 start. Still battling for the top 8 so there’s that!

I’ve managed to drop 25,000 spots over the last two weeks and haven’t been ranked inside the top 24,000 all season. I’ll let you do the math on just how many disappointments I’ve had. Limping to the line and hoping I can pull off some shithousery in my cashies.

In round 7 my ranking peaked at 9k, which was a great rise from 43k in round 3. Everything was looking rosy and trending in the right direction.

Then across the next few weeks spuds galore and role changes happened, I dropped to 29k by round 10. 20k spots lost in 3 weeks. Currently sitting at 24k

I’ve done a bit of a deep dive into my team.

What a horrible year supercosach wise with a 20,000 odd overall ranking and struggling in all my 10 leagues to top it off.
