I think he was easily our worst player this year and that includes the kids and the guys who have only played ammos prior to joining Footscray.

I thought he was going to be great at the level always seemed an AFL player who's body wasn't holding up but he was just dreadful

It wouldn't shock me if one of the standalone VFL teams are signing him as a coach. He's a great motivator and gets the boys up and about.

The wording from Egans farewell to Edge, is that he has more time for him to spend with his family. So it's likely a big reason he stepped down. He has been coaching in some capacity at the Bulldogs since 2014. So I would be surprised if his next move will be another coaching gig. Stand alone teams are still a lot of work.

I've wanted us to follow the Lions and Suns down the path for some time.
I expect the Lions pick up McFadyen after an impressive year infront of goals in their VFL.

Love that we are getting Eagleton in, hopefully can develop quicker in our system & have a shot at getting drafted later.

Regardless, it will be great to see a Eagleton in the red, white & blue again.

Josh is a terrific young man and very good footballer.

Werribee local so it's a good story.

Will play at Werribee VFL full time so not so good news for his local club, Werribee Districts.
