Baker had a good half playing across halfback. Dale spent more time on the bench I suspect he’ll be done for the day. Definitely rd 1 ready. Lachie Smith is more advanced than I thought he’d be, he’s super fit and runs and competes well. He’s up against a monster for boxhill. He makes King Kong look like a chimpanzee. Luke Kennedy runs and runs but needs to find more of it specially at this level. Heinz is very dangerous with ball on hand I’d like to see him up around the ball rather than a forward. He should have had two goals one hit the post. Not sure what more Buss has to do just needs the opportunity. One side note there a guy playing forward Footscray Spicer I think he’s really impressive.

Kennedy had a good quarter his running ability and skills are very good. Heinz got more involved playing more on ball but we got touched up at the ruck contests. Buku playing second ruck that term. Buss on fire he spectacularly spoiled one play and got all the fans excited including all the senior players sitting in the stands.

Bontempelli has now been ruled out until after Gather Round at the earliest after suffering a complex injury with tendon damage. That is at least eight weeks of football the Bont is out

No... it's 6 weeks... and it's 2 weeks until round 1 so might be back Gather Round..
