Yep, perfect example of stats not giving a true reflection of what is happening in the game. Our disposal in this game is simply woeful.

The most disappointing part is besides Duryea who has been let down a bit by skills, no AFL listed player is having a positive influence on the contestPretty shocking third quarter for us Camped in Melbourne's forward 50. Repeated shots at goal. No intensity or system from Footscray but lots of skills errors. Really no excuses on a perfect day for footy.
EDIT: And getting worse. Very disappointing. I've got jobs to do around the house. Will check in later on the final score.![]()
He is also playing very loose in defence so his stats look better as a result. The most disappointing part is besides Duryea who has been let down a bit by skills, no AFL listed player is having a positive influence on the contest
Is he playing midfield? Definitely looks better in there imo. Or coming up from HF into the contest.Do we have a coaching issue with Hynes? I like the kid but the trainer is telling him where to stand and his first instinct seems to be "handball receive" rather than "win the ball"
His kicking always stands outLuke Kennedy has played a good game
I prefer him doing the latterIs he playing midfield? Definitely looks better in there imo. Or coming up from HF into the contest.
A normal issue for a lot coming up from the 18's competition. Development and assistant coaches teaching the defensive positioning around stoppage and when to go. Some just pick it up earlier. Took Sanders some time as a recent exampleDo we have a coaching issue with Hynes?
