Love his kicks through the centre from HB, really opens the game up. He did a few of those at AFL as well which we scored from. Lovely skills. Running to get into good positions, wasn’t used a few times where he would’ve been in range to score

Definitely surprised by how good of a kick he is just seems to find a target.
There was a fend off at half back that was class too.

Realistically that is a decent AFL key defense set up. I feel do much better about our depth watching this game, even with our injury list. Cats relying on Guthrie and Martin held together by sticky tape.

He's been the weak link in defense unfortunately. Got a lot of the ball in the 2nd qtr, but missed kicks, missed handballs, missed intercept mark, missed tackle. He ain't ready.

Gardner's form at this level has been very solid this season. Make no inference from that observation.
Jones has taken 10 marks and Busslinger's had 16 disposals til half time. With Coffield also playing back it makes for a fairly formidable defence. Hopefully not too top heavy in the conditions.

Has that Clay Smith manic aggression when the balls on the deck, loves to surge it on at all costs.

Hynes is going to be hard to tackle when he puts more size on. Has a big frame & is already hard to take down, is often able to swing his hips free & disposal of the ball.

Impressive work in traffic by CCP that quarter in the centre of the ground. Beat about 5 Geelong opponents and resulted in a Footscray goal.
