Pretty comfortable win there in the end.


Probably Croft's best game against good opposition.

Tall defenders were a brick wall, absolutely elite at this level.

Dolan with a ton of run and spark out there. Jacques clean as well.

Jones worked hard up and down the wing, really playing for his career out there and showing real desperation.

Khamis pretty disappointing. Thought he was well held by Serong and just kinda disappeared as the game got more difficult.

Our list has so much promise fellas. We have drafted very well, particularly the last 2 years.

Croft will make it by the looks. It’s obvious Dolan will be a very good AFL player. Jacques, Hynes all impressed me.

I thought both Liam and Arty showed a bit in the last to think they may have something to give the Senior side still.

He has about 15 in front of him after watching the whole game.

He's about a year away from putting it together imo.

Good solid win. When the pressure came Gards was just outstanding. His marking has improved a lot.

Croft And Hynes and Dolan lifted. Durye—-Ay and both also Jones lifted.

For VFL listed - Crofts has been outstanding. Inside bull. Could be anything.

Agree Serong looks very very good. Better than Blanck today. Go get him Sammy!!!

Gards - great game. Just impassable in defense. And Jordan Croft definitely has something about him. He's going to be a competitive beast!

Khamis looked right of sorts today. Beaten in nearly every contest and had no ground ball impact either offensively or defensively. Our backline was superb with Coffield, Gardner, Jones and Sellwood controlling the aerial duels. Walker also took 8 marks. Jacques is a cool headed player who just knows what to do. Hynes and Dolan were creative. Smith was well beaten by Ned the giant but bustled effectively in the stoppages. Croft is now showing that with a few more kilos on the frame, he could be versatile in multiple roles next year.

We need to be patient with Croft, he had some injuries last year and this. He will come good. His tank for a 200cm player is superb. It's only his second season in the system. If we are going to play a 3rd tall up forward, Croft is it.

Sellwood must play AFL at some point. Racks up the possessions.

And not sure how people can scream that Buku is too good for the VFL when he had 4 disposals for the day. Sure he is eye catching due to his superb athleticism and skills, but he just can't play footy.
