Dev Rob came 4th in the JJ Liston Trophy count (was ineligible to win) and McFadyen was a finalist in the Rising Star Award.

We all know Dev’s limitations but surely midfielder of his abilities can be useful to a rebuilding team.
I think West Coast were crazy not to go after him last year.
I think he’d also be useful to Essendon or Richmond.
Maybe we could include him as steak knives in a Ridley deal?
Get Essendon to tell Merrett that we have this hard as rocks bloke coming who will stand beside you at every centre bounce next year. Please stay. Though Merritt would probably say ok, but as long as you aren’t paying him too much.
Ps seriously really sorry to see Dev go. Things just really work out for him. Seemed to lose his way abit last year, but this year in (imo) he gave 100% every time he took the field for the magoos. Dons could do worse that picking him up.
I have great admiration for Dev, would not wish Essendon on him, I really do not see a good fit for him on any list, might be better off plying his trade part time in the SANFL/WAFL or even stay in Brisbane and be a top up player for our VFL side.
Hopefully he has been studying/planning for his future post being on an AFL list.
