Kiddy moved quite well but his kicking was average. He didn't really take any handball receives and mostly bombed it long or dished it off to Beecken. I think he and Tom looked decent on intercept in the second half when we bothered to put pressure on up the field. Smith has a higher ceiling than Day both ruck and forward but whether he can crash in for a full game against the bigger bodies is the question for me.
it will be interesting to see how driven kiddy is to get back in. if he breaks down so be it he has a long time until round 1 to get fit. i'd like to see him play a vfl game at absolute full pace and biting off tough kicks to bang the door down. seems to have really lost confidence, maybe just in his body

Deliberately ploy to muddy up the ground to slow down our ball movement in the seniors?
Or so people can actually watch the game under cover?

Currently inside the top 6 by 0.8%. A 7-10 finish means a so-called wildcard game before qualifying for the finals proper. Daft idea on the whole, but a godsend for a player coming back from injury and looking to gain form and fitness for a possible return to the AFL side hello Linc McCarthy.

Good to see Frankston n Willy in the top 8. We have a lousy percentage.

The ruck battle will be one of many interesting matchups

Does Tunstall often get named in the back line? A poster mentioned Dev as a potential lock down defender. His disposal and decision making may preclude that, however Tunstill might fit the bill. The cupboard is bare and I wouldn't mind seeing Tunstill play that role. Absolute bonus if it came off.

That's the plan...
