Box Hill next week, and if it's a Saturday game the Hawks will most likely have two or three in Sydney on standby for their AFL final whereas we should be able to field the full complement.

Tunstill and Beecken could have filled the last two spots.

Form what I have seen of McFadyen he seems to have some draftable skills. And a decent size that would be hard to match up on. He plays with aggression as well. I think defenders would hate him.

Brain looks quite comfortable in his role. Still depth at this stage but solid depth and possibly will be needed next season.

I was really hopping we would consider McFadyen and Oscar Barry for the rookie draft this year. McFadyen even in the national draft, if we're taking a second late pick.

Part of me feels like Oscar in FF isn’t a terrible idea. Can’t have both of Day and Gallop in the seniors.

I could see Oscar in for Day but don’t think it’ll make all that much difference honestly. Oscar and Day in the same team is far worse than Day and Gallop though

I think if Oscars body had held up we would've settled on playing him and Fort at some point in the season

Definitely think there's an opportunity for someone to put their hand up to replace Gallop or Day though. Even Ryan. Especially given Hipwoods season is probably over

I actually believe that makes our forward line slower and more cumbersome, and much easier for the opposition to rebound out of.
