Ah damn, sounds about right. Highly unexciting knowing we've got known quantities in Day and Fort as the only option until trade period.

It does sound like the general consensus is if he's going to make it, itll be as a sole ruck.

Genuine ruck/forwards are rare as hens teeth. Much better to go with a part timer like Joe and have a fit first ruck who can ruck 80-85% of the game

I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of Henry Smith, and haven’t seen anything from him that makes me think he’ll make it at senior level.

There are two at GC that I’d rate better, another at Essendon. Maybe another at Geelong who I’d have to check out.

Henry’s an inside mid in a ruckman’s body. His value as a ruck-forward wont necessarily be measured in big clunks and bags of goals, but how many he sets up for Kai, Chuck, Shagga et al with his clever hands.

You’s will all come around one day.

I am basically fearing we might let one go who is the right age and could make us regret it.

The crows would be a destination club for south aussies next season and beyond.

So if he stays will hope Rip and Max are right, if he leaves will hope you get to say told you so Briz

Still seems the best way to get one is to trade for one who developed elsewhere but is stuck behind the main guy at a club. So start looking at who is getting drafter a year ago and then trade for them in about 4 years
