Joyce came in and kept our structure intact in few games in the premiership year too. Underrated depth who has the mature body and commitment to go when it's his turn to go.

There are lot of posters here who prefer Harry Arnold to him but I'll always back Joyce in the depth role.

Torrent played probably the best game I’ve seen him play for us against the Zebras yesterday. He’s looking that little more composed at VFL level this year compared with last which is allowing his skills by foot to come into play a bit more. Worth persisting with.

Torrent playing a far bit of half back last year (some wing from memory) would have helped his development.
He looks more at home in his usual position running through the midfield.
If he holds form i would play Torrent over Dev if Neale or Dunkley miss a game or two.
We know what Dev gives us at AFL level but need to blood someone else if needed.

Sam Marshall had a quieter game but looks an AFL player.
I like the way he moves. Rarely stands still with changing his direction before looking for a teammate.
He is not one of those midfielders that get plenty of possessions but waste a lot with rushed kicks.
Reminds me a lot of McCluggage.
McCluggage got games early because the team was struggling (4 wins 14 losses).
Marshall will just have to bide his time in a premiership winning team

More than a few clubs should have been doing their homework and gone hard after him. He would start most weeks at least a few other clubs going around. Perfect role player defender now
