Well, Curtis McCarthy isn't getting drafted at the end of the year then (not that he was going to anyway). Great game though, what a finish.

First game of VFL I’ve watched this season, was a cracker.
Gallop is a goer, I think he’ll make it in the AFL at some point, based on that game I wouldn’t mind seeing Beecken get a chance at the sub spot either. Annable looks like he’ll be a good mid as well, looks very reliable

I feel like Beecken has done everything he can to prove his case for AFL selection. If he doesn't get the nod by the end of the season, I won't blame him for leaving, because he could make the 22 of about six clubs easily.
Need dlanod to confirm, as long as we offer Beecken a senior list contract, another team would have to trade for him.
Wasn’t able to watch the game. ZZ stats look reasonable. Was he playing in defence?

Yep - we need to offer him a senior list contract otherwise he becomes a free agent if he turns us down.
The relevant clause affecting matters is “a 2nd year Rookie not accepting a further Rookie contract will be considered a Delisted Free Agent, and therefore will be an Unrestricted Free Agent.”

Was quite good for us at VFL level but that was clearly the ceiling and that was the comparison I was making
