I was watching gettable from last week, and they mentioned Oskar Taylor’s rather good sprint and agility results. At 191 he might actually be an interesting big bodied midfielder prospect.

Remember this time last year we were strongly linked with Jobe Shanahan. He looks like he's going to be really good and we probably did rate him but we were only ever going to take him if all the best small options were gone. The same is probably true of Thredgold.

everyone goes on about Draper and Davies ,but they are barely c graders and maybe handy as occasional fill ins but they are not long term a1 defenders. Draper is probably ok as the third tall because he is very athletic but is way too much of a lightweight to hold down one of the key back positions,Davies is not exactly killing it in the WAFL, I somehow don't see it in him, he's been around a while now, he might get better.

Draper is one off season in the gym away from having the strength to be able to play the engage first then try and spoil style he brings. Which, to be fair to him, is exactly how I'd have his opponent play on him if we were planning how to be most effective. Engage him in a wrestle, assume best position and contest the ball.

If the Gold lads got such good wraps on him and this draft reportedly stinks how’s the Key back with elite athleticism sliding all the way to our pick.

Yes injured missed champs whatever he reads like the next Rance.

Must be his hight holding him back 193cm seems very short for a proper KB

There's nearly five clubs with back to back picks in the top ten, the chances of one of them picking the next best available and then taking the best of their more serious needs is very high.

North and Essenson with multiple picks in 20s are a good chance to grab the late teen picks from Gold Coast and Brisbane. They both may well take thredgold as well as any other players we are interested in.. that trade will push 2 spots and we will also lose chance to get a good player.. pick 20 is on the edge of a tier. It will push us onto next tier.

I don’t believe the rhetoric around the blues using a top 10 pick on matching a bid on Dean either, surely they have a couple of scenarios and trades set up pre draft night to trade down for more points
