Looks like the derby between south and east is going to be cancelled due to the weather. Not good for the East boys who’ve only had 1 scratch match this would’ve been the second.

Yes both the colts & the reserves are cancelled. Same problem for SF only having 1 scratchy compared to the others. Bloody Eagles are a pain not having colts or ressies

Yeah frustrating indeed......both sides will be either fresh as daisy's or terribly under done, come round 1. I see Perth are playing WCER first up, so their colts/reserves won't see any action for 3 weeks practically....

I was looking forward to that Derby futures game as well.....no doubt cancelled as well...same as the WAFLW Derby?

I think 3 would be considered at slide atm, just not being bid on at 1 would be a big win.

If it is Port who's forcing this on the kid then its an absolute campaigner of thing to do. Draftees always talk about how their top age draft season is one of the most fun experiences they have in their career, and the club is robbing him of that to save a few magic draft beans.

Problem Richmond/Essendon will have is if they finish bottom 2, Port/Carlton will finish close enough to the bottom 2 to just match the bids on Walker/Cochrane anyway.

I suspect whoever ends up with pick 1 will end up taking pick 3 unfortunately
