I think we hold our draft capital again this year and go midfield and pace again. It’s where the game is going and our spine is the least of our worries if the likely types kick on.

Need to buy a ruck though but we must have so much $$$ to do so.

One thing I’d like is to do is get one the mini draft picks off Tasmania so we can get an elite 17 year old in. Ours and west coast futures will likely hold the most currency so would be disappointed if we couldn’t pull it off. Identify the best 17 year old and make it known we’ll get get the job done as this would stop them signing with Tasmania.

Next year we go after free agents as the draft will be beyond compromised.

Jack Martin, Brad Crouch, Jesse Hogan and Jaeger O’Meara in the last mini draft, not to mention all the 17 year olds GWS and GC got first dibs on who went nowhere (from memory Cameron, Treloar, and Shiel were about the only good ones out of 24 players).

Getting 17 year olds is a mistake, there’s so much development between 17 and 18.

If there is a Harley Reid type standout you need to go very in my opinion. Academies and father sons have made getting elite talent harder than ever.

Also, apart from Martin those three have had very good careers and on talent could have been even better if it weren’t for bad luck with injuries.

Wanted Richmond, didnt wanna get booed
Soft C**k

Should have chosen to be part of something special and building with a young team full of future stars and not suffer what his dad did at that rabble of a club

Carlton has their own 1st round and Swans 1st round, really need both teams to finish higher on the ladder.

Finishing 7th is pick 1140 points, finishing 8th is 1205 points

Pick 1 is 3000 points pick 2 is 2481 points.

Or maybe we need to do reverse death ride Swans for top 4 lol only 973 points.

Vossy needs to coach for his career.
