Yes we do but they are not much chop

Armstrong - Short outside mid expected to go around #16+ we might not even take him
Leys - Who knows probably Rookie
Daffy - Similar to Leys but is probably the player i like to see at Richmond

Given kellaway wasnt even close I’d suggest leys is little chance ,daffy a long shot too but he has time

I think those 2 from the little Ive seen at least have some pace. LK was very vanilla, depending how quick this years father sons are they may at least have a weapon or 2 that LK unfortunately didnt possess even if he was more rounded.

Tend to agree with all that, best case scenario for Leys & Daffy is rookie & Armstrong I dont see in the top 25.
Wouldn't surprise me if none of them get taken.

All of our draftees , not only could win ball , they kicked goals and each of them a very good overhead mark . Leys actually does take a lot of marks , on what I’ve seen so far he needs to lift

All depends how they perform this year though. Some players excel in there final junior year. And head straight up the boards, not every kid from the academy will make it into first round calculations either ie NHH or O.Greeves

Personally not holding out much hope for either Leys or Daffy as neither seem to be rated that highly heading into the year. Hopefully both can perform in their draft years and at least put themselves into contention.

A few more I'll be keeping an eye on next season.

Marlon Neoculeous - He's tiny but he can play. Just as much a threat around stoppages as he is around the goals.

Cody Templeton - Looks to do things effortlessly at times, links up well to set up plays and another who is dangerous in the forward half.

Blake Newton - My early smoky. If this kid can up his endurance he can definitely put himself into draft calculations.

LeCras shapes as an interesting option in the 2026 pool with a lot of the attributes coveted by teams in a modern forward. Medium sized at 190cm, super clean hands in marking contests and the running power to leave his matchup in the dust. He played both forward and wing in the Futures game, and while he didn't find a huge amount of the footy, he was still named among the best for his team.

Patterson is another talented prospect in what looks to be another strong crop from SA. A small forward who can do a bit of everything and kicked bags of goals as a bottom ager. A quick first step and change of direction helps him slip tacklers or get out on the lead. He's dangerous at ground level and capable of leaping for marks.

A prospect in the extended first round mix for 2026, Gus Teixeira is a hard working wing or half forward with running power on the outside and creativity with his disposal. The Dragons always seem to have a handful of kids emerge in their top age season to dominate the Talent League and Teixeira looks to be a strong candidate to do just that.
