2026 AFL Fixture

It's about this time of year the fixture is starting to be leaked and dropped. I think we may play Round Zero again, maybe in the GC this time. This will be followed by Essendon in Round 1 for sure.

Anyone heard any rumours or leaks?

I just want to play West Coast in Gather Round at Adelaide Oval on the Saturday afternoon, so I can see my first live win in what will be almost 4 years by that point.

That would be impossible - you can't play double ups against 4 teams in your grouping. The top 6 will be us, Brisbane, Geelong, Collingwood, Adelaide and Gold Coast.

I think he's channeling the spirit of the 2013 draw when we played all of the other 7 finalists in the first seven weeks of the competition.

That sort of shit****ery takes a long time to be worked out of the system.

I can guarantee we will not be playing double ups against Pies or Crows.

We will get 2 of Brisbane, GC and Geelong plus GWS, Dogs, Swans and probably * as double ups.

And I wouldn't put it past the AFL to give us double ups against all of Brisbane, GC and Geelong and make up some BS why we play 3 of the top 6 twice.

You’ve played an SA team in Gather Round. But my guess is you’ll get the Crows at Adelaide Oval outside of that.

Don't think they'd put us at Norwood again unless it was against a Non-VIC opposition.

This. We haven't played them after their inevitable 'second half of the year fade out' for years.

Echoing what others have said, don't want Darwin or Gather Round against an SA team.

Wouldn't want the Cats as a double up this year, as the return fixture would likely be at their sh*thole of a kidney dish ground.

Dogs dont draw well tho, they had them play Brisbane at Norwood this year, unless they bring in the pass for both games on saturday i wouldnt be surprised if it was at Norwood
