I think worst case senario, is a top 10 pick, I wouldn't imagine top 5, unless something terrible happens.

Its March, plenty to play out.

How does not finishing bottom 5 equate to winning the flag TD? There’s no need for extremes he’s simply saying is finishing bottom 5 is a stretch when ess, north, eagles, Carlton, Melb etc exist

You really need to start trying to understand that life isn’t “all or nothing”.
There is a lot of middle ground between winning the flag and being bottom 4 Dave.

Not sure what a end of first/start of second round will help.. If those bottom 5 clubs did their work, they could do a trade to get in another top selection.. Its just encouraging them to bid really.

21. Luke Trainor
23. Harry Armstrong

In 2025 draft pick they got

Pick 7. Sam Cumming
Pick 8. Sam Grlj
Pick 31. Zane Peucker
Pick 54. Noah Roberts-Thomson

You would think that all those top picks would have them starting to perform really well this year.

It's because having the number 3 pick doesn't get you the third highest rated kid in the draft anymore. So the value of their picks compared to other teams has been eroded - their bringing back more value to those picks as the draft has become broken in terms of helping teams raise themselves off the bottom.
