Going with Wang, Rozee and Clark as premos to start.

Andy McGrath — best season averaged of 95 over 9 seasons and last season mid 80s

It would take more that being elevated to the captaincy for him to average over 100, right?

He finished the season in the midfield and scored fairly well

Who isn't starting NAS this year?
Not starting him, but he will come in at some stage.

Going for value to start with and 5 players over $1m, Rozee, Butters, Gawn, English and Sheezel. Might still trim that down by one where English could make way, Draper might slot in, not entirely sure yet. Should be plenty of options for Captains up to upgrade season.

Ah, that’s handy to know — probably worth adding to the watch list I guess

Essendon had a million injuries last season. He’s back in the backline and won’t be a major distribution option. Potentially 5th in line after Reid, Roberts, Redman, Ridley and likely one of Farrow/Johnson

Would avoid like the plague.

Would need another massive Injury Crisis to get on ball reps

Anyone keen on Sinclair? Could be a nice POD at the start of the years.

This was his run last year when NAS started getting bulk CBA's.

He looks a good solid pick I reckon

If he was a bit cheaper he’d be a lock but 600K is probably too many $ for me

Rivers expected to play midfield this season?
You’d expect Lindsay, Kossie, Steele, Viney, Windsor, Langford to be the main group. With Tholstrup pitch hitting. I expect Rivers to be playing high half-back, but with significant personal changes inducing the coach, hard to know.

Interested to see how Steele goes in that midfield. His tackles numbers were solid last season after a couple of down years in that area.

A few hitouts from Max and no early bye Steele might present a little bit of value early on.

What about Culley?
I think he will be the one to play the Petracca role.

May skip Nas initially. Disappointed greatly at the business end with poor DE as a mid. Very bullish on Reid and a big watch on Newman. Some decent cheap rookies if they get to the starting line.

Rozee, Newman?, McKercher, Reid, Coleman, Gibcus, Simpson, Serong.
